Description:Looking south down the Fowlea Brook valley in the Ravensdale area of Tunstall. The photograph was taken off Ravensdale Road. On the right is the National Benzole petroleum plant and on the left Talke Chemicals sulphuric acid plant. The works are each side of the main railway line running across the photograph. Railway tanker wagons can be seen in the sidings. On the extreme right hand edge is Bentley Tileries which occupied the Bradwell Wood Tileries until 1966. In the far distance on the horizon is the spire of Hartshill Church. The higher ground on the right is Bradwell Woods.
