Description:Looking west along Victoria Street (now Lockwood Street) with houses on Baddeley Green Lane visible at the far end. The photograph was taken from the Leek New Road (A53) corner. The houses date from 1875.

At the corner on the left is a hairdressers with the traditional barber's pole over the door. The first few houses on the left have been demolished. The corner shop and houses on the right remain, although the shop is no longer a greengrocer's.
Baddeley Edge is the higher ground in the distance..
