Description:A view south east from Old Sideway Road area in Boothen towards the Stafford Coal and Iron Company's colliery. The two winding gear towers can be seen in the centre of the photograph, with the waste tips to the left. The Stafford Colliery mined coal from five seams and operated from 1873 until closure in 1969. The area is now part of the Britannia/Bet365 Stadium and Trentham Lakes Business Park.
