Description:Earthenware jugs with relief moulded decoration.Height of glazed jug 140mm.The pearlware jug has white relief moulded decoration of a hunting scene on a blue slip ground, and over-glaze enamel colours and lustre. It was made by Wood and Caldwell, 1790-1818.The two biscuit earthenware jugs, with white sprigged decoration, were made by Enoch Wood & Sons, 1818-1846. These jugs were excavated in the courtyard of the Fountain Works, Burslem in 1999.
