Description:Glazed Earthenware. H. 3.2 x W.19.4 cm. Earthenware plate, thrown and turned by Michael Cardew, at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England. Interior has cream/yellow slip with specks of cobalt oxide, the rim and stylised decoration have been painted with iron oxide, lead glazed, base unglazed.
