Description:Earthenware 'European Scenery' printed bowls and cup. Dish 270mm x 225mm. This table service, with its distinctive printed lace rim, was produced with many different central scenes, in blue, pink, black and green. All the scenes were drawn from the designer's imagination, rather than specific places in Europe. The bowls and cup were excavated at Burslem Market Place in 1998. Nineteen different scenes were identified from the Enoch Wood material excavated at this site.
