Description:Sewage engineers at work in a quiet Cauldon Road, Shelton. Much of this scene has changed. The chapel on the left has long since been demolished, and where the billboards stand on the right is now a chemist’s shop.
The cobbled street with tramlines is Stoke Road; the trams ran from Hanley to Stoke via Snow Hill.
