Description:During the 1920s motorised transport became much more reliable. As a result small firms bought vehicles and organised trips to the seaside. This photograph was taken outside the premises of Primrose Motor Coaches of Stoke Road, Shelton. The charabanc, a large open car full of seats, was a popular mode of transport for day-trips.
