Description:This protest began at Central Forest Park outside the city centre and marched into Hanley and down Stafford Street as shown in this photograph. The miner's strike saw many large demonstrations and protests take place across Britain with people travelling great distances to join marches. This image is reproduced by kind permission of the North Staffordshire Miner's Wives Action Group.
