Description:This photograph was taken on the corner of Hide Street looking north towards Church Street. The F W Woolworth's store is on the site of the old Majestic Cinema which closed in 1957. This side is the Majestic Buildings, occupied in the 1950s by Beresford's toy and pram retailers. In front is an array of 1950s concrete bus shelters.
