Description:The mission church of St Margaret and St Anthony in St Anthony's Row off Victoria Road in Fenton. Behind is the spoil tip of Berry Hill Collieries.

A small church was opened around 1896 as a mission church from St Jude's in Shelton. This church is was a 1921 rebuild and functioned until 1940. At the time of the photograph the "pre fab" style building was a warehouse for Edco, pottery factors. The building, much changed still stands on Victoria Road. Just to the right is a typical 1960s Christmas cigarette advertisement.
