Date:August 1964

Description:The Springfields Hotel stands on the corner of Newcastle Road (A34) and Clayton Lane. The grade II listed building was later renamed The Orange Tree around 2009. The red brick building was originally a substantial house (Springfields House) built in the mid 1700s and later converted into a hotel.

The three 1960s cars are a Ford Prefect/Popular, Hillman Minx and Wolseley 1500. Mostly obscured behind the Hillman is probably a Ford Anglia.
