Date:November 1963

Description:The bridge carried the Potteries Loop Line over Hot Lane. Burslem station was the next stop to the left and Cobridge station was down the line to the right. Visible in the background is the top of Sneyd Colliery spoilt tip. The next bridge along Hot lane, just seen through the low railway bridge, carried clay from the pit on the right hand side across the road to the Sneyd Brickworks. The mid 19th century cottage has been demolished, the tip has been landscaped and the railway bridge now carries the walkway between Cobridge and Burslem.
