Description:A view north east along Endon Road on the edge of Norton Green. The road drops down into the valley of the River Trent before climbing up to Brown Edge and Endon in the distance.
On the left, just beyond the village sign, is the Zion Methodist Church built in 1871. The houses beyond the chapel and the white cottages on the left date from the middle of the 19th century. Until after the Second World War, the right hand side of Endon Road was open country. The lorry seemingly parked on the right is one made by Scammell.
