Description:View from near the top of Aquinas Street down towards Epworth Street and the centre of Stoke. Aquinas Street was originally called Thomas Street. Behind the wall beyond the houses on the left was the Society of Friends (or Quaker) Meeting House abandoned in the 1950s and later demolished. The terraced houses on the left have also been demolished. Opposite the wall, on the right hand side can be seen the entrance arch to the Quakers' burial ground. The graveyard was retained when the area was redeveloped. The other larger houses on the right hand side have been demolished.
