Description:'Phoenix' pattern coffee set by Susan Williams-Ellis for Portmeirion. Portmeirion Pottery was founded by Susan Williams-Ellis and her husband Euan Cooper-Ellis in 1959 in the factory formerly belonging to A.E. Gray Ltd. on London road, Stoke-on-Trent. Their striking designs have been popular since the early 1960s.
