Description:You can spot this shrub on the drier parts of heaths and moors, especially in the Churnet Valley and Cannock Chase.
Flowering between May and August, it produces fruit between August and October and can grow up to 30cm in height.
This example was found growing at Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, by local naturalist L.K. Clark in 1918.
