Description:This plant, which can reach a height of 25cm, can be found growing on calcareous grassland, and flowers between June and September.
"Calcareous" grasslands are areas where the grass grows on soils rich in lime, as in parts of North Staffordshire.
This specimen was found at Cheadle by local naturalist John Masefield, during the summer of 1883.
