Description:In the age of steam, expresses between London and Scotland were a regular sight in the Potteries.

This service, passing the gasometer at Etruria, is hauled by 4-6-0 locomotive number 46149 The Middlesex Regiment.

Rail travellers can no longer make this journey directly.
