Description:A group of men survey the damage resulting from a rail accident at Uttoxeter station in 1890. Although this section of the line was under the control of Uttoxeter engine shed, a heavy crane was called for from Stoke shed to assist with the removal of the wreckage. This image is included by kind permission of the Churnet Valley Railway.
