Description:Informal group photograph of dozens of children and some adults during the holiday period. Taken at Longton Park, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

The park is very busy. Judging by Blake’s title for this photograph, the children appear to be waiting for a turn in the paddling pool.

The park's official name is Queen's Park and it was officially opened on July 25th 1888 by George Granville William Sutherland Levison-Gower, the third Duke of Sutherland.
