Description:Mosslee Hall and Farm viewed from Belmont Lane, Cheddleton.

The house is located in Cheddleton Parish, and stands on the site of a medieval house, lived in by the Hollins family during the Middle Ages (13th-14th century). Much of the present building dates from the 16th-17th century, when the house was still owned by the Hollins family. The Sneyd family carried out extensive renovations to the property in the 19th century.
