Description:Sir Malcolm Sergeant conducted the Ceramic City Choir during the 1960s. The choir toured the country and Dr Sergeant (Ph.D.) was acknowledged with a knighthood for his contribution to music. Sir Malcolm is pictured here at the Victoria Hall at Hanley in the conductor’s box with his choir and orchestra.
