Description:These three women in deckchairs on the beach appear to be enjoying their holiday! During the years between the first and second world wars the holiday seasons saw hoards of people flooding into seaside resorts such as Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Llandudno and Blackpool.
This photograph was used on the invitation for the exhibition 'Potters' Holiday - from Wakes to Sunshine Breaks' held at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery in 1988.
