Date:October 1964

Description:Looking east along Ruxley Road from the junction with Bucknall Road. The Esso petrol station on the right now occupies the junction and Ruxley Road no longer meets Bucknall Road. Halfway down on the left is George Edwards Bucknall Flint Mill, built next to a mill stream from the River Trent, flowing under the road. Further down on the right, the Ind Coope public House is the Mason's Arms.

This part of Ruxley road is much changed with the mill, petrol station and corner shop demolished with the building of the Werrington Road/Dividy Lane intersection.
