Description:A general view east from Commerce Street in Longton with St James' Church tower visible between the bottle ovens. The ovens are probably from four large works in Longton: Coronation earthenware works of W T Barlow & Sons, Park Works of Charles Allerton and, on the left, the Gladstone and Roslyn works.
