Description:The camera is looking east from the Caldon Canal towpath near Botteslow Street road bridge. The row of buildings on the left are the rear of Elijah Cotton's Nelson Pottery works. On the right was the site of a flint and mineral mill. Nelson Pottery has been almost completely cleared but the building in the centre still stands alongside the canal.
