Date:August 1964

Description:The camera is looking south along the A34 (Stone Road) just before the old Hanford roundabout. The large building on the right just beyond the two bungalows is the White House (later repainted). On the left behind the hedge is now St Joseph's College Sixth Form centre and Stone Business Park . This was originally part of the Michelin Tyre Company's factory.
The single storey building on the right is commercial premises, still operating although with a different use. Just beyond this is the entrance to St. Teresa's Primary School. St. Teresa's Roman Catholic church is hidden behind the trees on the left, closer to the roundabout.
The view at the bottom is much changed today with the Hanford Flyover carrying the A500 (Queensway) over the A34.
