Description:The view southwards along London Road. The flats at the bottom are at the junction with Newcastle Road (A34). Elphinstone Road (formerly Lincoln Road) goes off to the left with the groceries and provisions shop on the corner. Most of the terraced houses on the right and shops on the left date from the end of the 19th century.
