Description:The camera is looking east towards Stoke from near the top of Penkhull New Road. On the right, the open space is the access to the Terrace Inn car park. the road coming in on the left is Penkhull Terrace. On the right is a row of terraced houses (known as Commercial Row) dating from them mid 19th century. The Terrace Inn public house dates from the 1870s, although the present building is more recent. Down in the valley are the houses and factories of Stoke.
