Description:The Corner of Stoke Old Road at Shelton New Road. Off to the left was the site of the old Hartshill Brick and Tile Works, later the Diamond Clay works, refractory manufacturers. To the right was the site of Basford Working Men's Club. Both have been demolished and replaced by housing. The houses on the higher ground behind are on Cummings Street.
