Description:Caudwell's Victoria Bakery on College Road opposite Hanley Park. The bakery was built sometime before 1924 and ceased production in 1968. The bakery has been demolished and the land is now the site of College Court, student accommodation for the nearby College and University.
Just beyond the bakery off to the left is Wellesley Street, and opposite one of the entrances to Hanley Park. The photograph was taken from the bridge crossing the Caldon Canal.
