Description:The White Swan public house is a two storey building, two rooms wide by two rooms deep. It also has a cellar and a two storey rear projection. It was constucted on Newport Lane between 1832 and 1851. The front of the building is west facing has a modern cement facia. The ground floor has two doors with rectangular glazed fanlights, plus two decorative timber framed casement windows. The first floor has a modern pub sign suspended from a steel bracket. There is a yard to the rear of the building with a modern toilet block, steel cellar doors and a gate to a passage-way giving access to Newport Lane.
