Description:The Queen's Head public house stands on Queen Street which was formerly known as Lower Street. The date stone states that it was constructed in 1885. It is two rooms wide by two rooms deep and includes an attic and a cellar. The front is north facing and has brick pillasters with stone caps on the corner and either sider of the attic gable. The ground floor shows the entrance with two rectangular lights and a stone step. There are also brick pillasters with stone caps on either side of the door. There are two side windows with stone sills. The windows and door are surmounted by a triangular stone pediment with large decorative stone supports. The name of the public house is shown in a stone plaque above the door. Above the door are two sash windows with brick arches and sills formed by the name plaque entablature.
