Description:This building was constructed between 1851 and 1878 and was originally used as a pottery factory. The present use is as a fireplace manufacturer. The cast iron brackets which supported a swinging arm are attached to the wall adjacent to the loading bay entrance. A cobbled road runs along the front of the factory with decorative iron gates giving access to Pack Horse Lane, formerly Old Pack Horse Lane in 1851 and Fountain Lane in 1812.
