Description:Looking north along Trent Valley Road from its junction with London Road. The cluster of shops on the corner still remain, although with different names and trades. The original Co-operative store building is still a grocers. The building beyond, with the delivery van outside, was the Butchery Department.
Daintry Street runs off to the right, just where the young lads are using the cycle cross bars to scale the wall into the grounds of the Oakhill Bowling Club. The Daintry Street terraced houses were built between 1900 and 1924, when Trent Valley Road was called Trentham Road.
