Date:February 1964

Description:The view south along Butler Street to the Butler Street Stand entrance to the Victoria Ground. The stand is visible beyond the gates. This is the route many supporters took to the ground from Stoke. Selwyn Street crosses from left to right. The pattern of houses in Butler Street is largely unchanged. On the right and left are the entrances to "Back Alleys" that ran along the rear of the rows of terraced houses.
