Longton Hall was rebuilt in a grand country house style in the 1770s. The Hall belonged to the Foley family, Lords of the Manor in Longton from the 17th century until 1773. It was then the home of the Heathcote family until about 1840, who then leased it until 1928. The Hall was demolished in 1939.
