Description:The vehicle on the extreme left is parked outside The Station Hotel which was on the corner of Uttoxeter road (now the A50) and Station Road (now Recreation Road). The zebra crossing was on Uttoxeter Roadd outside a school about halfway between Bengry Road and Recreation Road.
The school opposite the zebra crossing was the original Alexandra Infants school before the building was demolished and the school moved to it's new location on Melville Road
