Description:The Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress, Council Officials and Civil Defence members photographed in front of a mobile tea van during the Second World War.

Mobile tea vans like this would have been operated by such groups as the Women's Voluntary Service to serve civil defence workers, policemen, firemen and soldiers who were undertaking tasks such as search and rescue after air raids.
