Description:Pearlware portrait bust. Height 240mm. Alexander Pope (1688-1744) was an English poet, whose works include 'The Rape of the Lock' and verse translations of 'The Iliad' and 'The Odyssey'. This bust of Pope is impressed on the base 'Ra. Wood Burslem'.
