Description:Pearlware over-glaze painted figure of Sir Isaac Newton. Height 315mm Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727) was an English mathematician and scientist. His discoveries include the law of gravity, which he reached after an apple fell on his head. Newton studied the nature of light and the construction of telescopes, but one of his lesser known inventions was the cat flap.
