Bone china. D : 23.5 cm.

Dessert plate from the Lord Milton service, entitled Crossing the Alhabasca River in the Rocky Mountains.

The painted scene is based on Dr. William Butler Cheadle's drawings and photographs.

There is a hand-pierced rim with acid gold etching including Lord Milton's monogram.
