Description:Backstamp from Queensberry tableware trio by Crown Staffordshire China.

Founded as Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. Ltd. by the Green brothers at the Minerva Works, Park Street, Fenton, the company was renamed Crown Staffordshire China Co. Ltd. in 1948. The company became part of the Wedgwood Group in about 1973 and the Crown Staffordshire brand was used on special products until 1985. Wedgwood continue to use the Minerva Works for manufacture of Coalport branded ceramics until 2000, and the works were demolished the following year.
