Description:Clarice Cliff 1899-1972.

Earthenware soup cup, decorated with banding inside the dish and around the lower exterior. The upper part of the outside is with a design of crocuses.

This pattern is 'Crocus', issued in various colourways from 1928 to 1964.

Designed by Clarice Cliff for A.J. Wilkinson, Burslem, this version produced under the 'Royal Staffordshire' trade name.
