Description:Glazed Stoneware.

Stoneware jar with a long neck and wide shoulders, thrown and turned by William Staite Murray at Rotherhithe, London.

Matt cream glaze with a stylised wax resist decoration around the upper half of the jar, brown iron rich glaze over the top.
