Description:Glazed Earthenware.

H. 5.9 x W.35.5 cm.

Earthenware dish, thrown round and reshaped by taking out a leaf shaped piece of clay and pressing the side together to form an oval.

Produced by Elijah Comfort at Winchcombe Pottery, Gloucestershire, England.

Brown slip with cream/yellow slip trailed decoration of two fish and a wavy line below the rim, lead transparent glaze has blistered, exterior appears to have been sanded.
