Description:Glazed Stoneware.

H.8.5 x W.15.0 cm. Stoneware bowl on small foot, thrown and turned by William Staite Murray at Rotherhithe, London, England.

Copper red glaze which is deep red in colour and has a lustrous finish, speckled in iron oxide, deep unglazed band around the edge, areas around the foot and base also unglazed.
