Description:Glazed Stoneware.

Stoneware circular box and cover, thrown and turned at St. Ives by Bernard Leach.

Grey/green celadon glaze, painted iron oxide decoration of a pagoda on the cover with two bands around the rim.

The box has three bands of painted iron oxide on the exterior, foot and base unglazed.
