Description:Formerly of Moore Bros., Longton, Bernard Moore (1850-1935) is noted for producing Flambe Glaze ware during its revival in the early 20th century. The Moore Brothers occupied the St. Mary’s Works in High Street (Uttoxeter Road), Longton. The factory was originally built in 1862 was later owned by T.C. Wild & Sons Ltd., famous for the Royal Albert china and the building is still standing and is located in the Mount Pleasant area of upper Longton.
